Team Langebaan Neighbourhood Watch

Team Langebaan Neighbourhood Watch was founded in 2011 by concerned residents of Langebaan, in a response to the crime rate and housebreakings.

As the organisation developed, TLNHW has since become an accredited neighbourhood watch with the Western Cape Department of Police Oversight and Community Safety, and is a SARS register public benefit organisation. TLNHW works closely with all security companies in Langebaan, Langebaan SAPS, Langebaan CPF and other neighbourhood watches in the West Coast and Western Cape. TLNHW is also a member of the Langebaan CPF, and the Saldanha Bay Safety Initiative and works closely with the Saldanha Bay Municipality Department of Public Safety.

Team Langebaan adopted the clasped hands as the logo, which symbolises the community working together. 

Team Langebaan has since diversified to include other functions, such as Team Langebaan Feed the Need, and others. As such the Neighbourhood Watch has since became one of the organisations within the Team Langebaan portfolio.
